2007) – SGIS has been awarded a Science Data Systems Implementation and Operations contract by Raytheon Intelligence and Information Systems in support of NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL). The work will be performed in Pasadena, California. The contract, worth $400,000, is valid until
September 2008.
The
scope of this contract includes science data processing, operations and
management support. SGIS will assume

upon our expertise and the excellent reputation we have developed with JPL
within the last few years. To be
recognized as a result of this is further evidence of our commitment to helping
them to achieve their mission developing and advancing technologies that enable
the further exploration of our solar system.”
SGIS
has extensive experience supporting JPL.
In March 2005, JPL awarded SGIS a Temporary Support Effort Personnel
(TSEP) prime contract worth over $75 million to help pursue its vision of
expanding the limits of space exploration.
As a result of the work SGIS has performed, and continues to contribute
to this project, JPL has made a number of advancements in atmospheric
research. SGIS has also enabled NASA to
stay on course for the successful launch of their latest Mars Rover while
containing costs. SGIS opened a new
