Sgis is awarded a systems engineering contract for satcom programs by Rockwell collins in support of the United states military

 

Dallas, TX (January 31, 2007) – SGIS, a SkillStorm, Inc. family company, announced today that Rockwell Collins has awarded the Dallas, Texas branch of SGIS a Systems Engineering contract supporting various United States Military Satellite Communications Programs in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.  These programs include, but are not limited to, the MMP (Minuteman Minimum Essential Emergency Communications Network Program), the GEMS (Ground Element MEECN System Program) and the FAB-T (Family of Advanced Beyond-Line-of-Sight Terminals Program).

 

The scope of the contract for SGIS includes the design, development, test and integration for the MMP, GEMS and FAB-T portion of the MILSTAR Program.  MILSTAR is the most advanced military communications satellite system that provides worldwide communications to meet essential wartime requirements for high priority military users.  The contract is valid until January 8, 2007.
