Fort Lauderdale, Florida (September 6, 2006) – SGIS, a government contracting company, took home the award for South Florida Business Journal’s 2006 Technology Awards in the Professional Services category at the eighth annual awards ceremony.  This award recognizes technology-based companies with a proven track record of innovative business practices who have significant South Florida operations.  SGIS was bestowed this prestigious honor above many applicants and three other highly successful finalists in the category.
