Sgis is
awarded a video teleconferencing support contract by the space and Naval
warfare systems command
Washington, D.C. Metro Area (October
1, 2007) – SGIS has been awarded a Video Teleconferencing (VTC) Support prime contract by the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWARSYSCOM) in support of the Command Information Office Directorate (CIO). The work will be performed at SPAWARSYSCOM facilities in San Diego, California and Washington, D.C. The contract is valid until September 2011.
The
scope of this contract includes subject matter expertise and technical support
services. The services provided by SGIS
will include: scheduling, setting up and operation of VTC sessions;
troubleshooting and maintaining VTC equipment and services; determining the
processes, organizational structure and resources needed for efficient and
effective VTC service delivery and working collaboratively within the community
and across the United States Navy to execute business transformation efforts.
