is awarded a mail and classified material control services contract by the

San Diego, California (October 18, 2007) – SGIS has been awarded a Mail and Classified Material Control services prime contract by the Space and Naval Warfare (SPAWAR) Systems Center, San Diego in support of the United States Navy. The work will be performed at the SPAWAR Systems Center in San Diego, California. The contract, worth $2.5 million, is valid until September 2012.
Under this contract, SGIS will provide Mail Services, Unclassified
and Classified Commanding Officer (CO) Mail Services, Administrative Mail
Functions and Classified Material Control Services. Services include, but are not limited to, processing
and distribution of incoming, outgoing, internal, unclassified and classified
mail; miscellaneous administrative support services for the Mail Center; sorting
incoming mail; consolidating and metering emergency outgoing mail; collecting,
processing and distributing mail addressed to the military and/or civilian head
of the organization and controlling, tracking and processing for disposition of
classified top secret/ secret documents and materials.
