Sgis is
awarded a TRAINING contract in support of the
united
states MILITARY
Sierra Vista, AZ (September 25,
2007) – SGIS has been awarded a training contract in support of the United States Military, the Department of Defense (DoD) and other federal government agency personnel in Military Source Operations (MSO). The 5-year contract will be performed at Fort Huachuca, Arizona.
The
scope of this contract includes training those in Military Source Operations, including
training instructors, and managing the administrative support for the training.
SGIS will assume duties as platform
instructors and deploy on field training exercises serving as instructor,
mentor, role player and counselor alongside active duty military and DoD
civilian instructors.
“This contract enables us to provide the training
required to support the war on terrorism, while continuing our
service to the 111th Military Intelligence
brigade at Fort Huachuca and the Defense Intelligence
Agency’s
newly formed Department of Defense (DOD) Human
Intelligence Joint Center of Excellence (HT-JCOE),” said
SGIS VP of Integrated Services
Linda Beardsley.

SGIS opened its office in Sierra Vista early this year in order to
provide ongoing services and support to the
Department of Defense and the Military
Intelligence (MI) Army Brigade on Fort
Huachuca; SGIS was
awarded
a Constructive Training contract supporting the
MI Army Battalion by General Dynamics Information Technology earlier this year.
Under this contract, SGIS provides live
and constructive personnel training and
simulation support services, including personnel
with the technical and tactical expertise necessary to serve as
Counter Intelligence Training Specialists,
Instructors and Curriculum Developers for the 309th MI Battalion.
