Sgis is awarded the world-wide satellite systems contract

by DSCI in support of the UNITED STATES ARMY

 

Fort Monmouth, NJ (April 13, 2007) – SGIS announced today that DSCI has awarded SGIS a position on the World-Wide Satellite Systems contract in support of the United States Army’s Defense Communications and Army Transmission Systems (DCATS).  This contract has a $5 Billion ceiling and runs through 2016.

 

SGIS will provide engineering support, systems and equipment prototyping, personnel support, operations and maintenance, integrated logistics support and site surveys on a variety of satellite terminals:

·         Combat Service Support (CSS) Very Small Aperture

·         Terminal (VSAT) Satellite Terminal

·         Fixed Station Satellite Terminal

·         Flyway VSAT Satellite Terminal

·         Military Certified Satellite Terminal

·         Prime Mover/Trailer Mounted Satellite Terminal

·         Deployable Satellite Earth Terminal
