MARK NEHMER OF SGIS AWARDS COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS ON BEHALF OF SOUTH FLORIDA'S CHAPTER OF ARMED FORCES COMMUNICATIONS AND ELECTRONICS ASSOCIATION
SGIS Senior Account Manager, also the Chairman of the Scholarship Committee for the South Florida Chapter of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA), presented four high school students with one $5,000 college scholarship each at a recent awards luncheon held in Miami, Florida.  Students must have met all criteria to be eligible and attend a college or university to pursue a degree in hard sciences, mathematics or engineering disciplines – those which support AFCEA’s focus on Communications, Electronics, Information Technology, Security and Intelligence systems.  Award recipients included students from Broward, Palm Beach, Monroe and/or Miami-Dade Counties: Mylo Cheng, Mirela Vasconcelos, Matthew Stankowicz and Joshua Eisenburg.  Angel Febles, Command Sergeant Major (CSM), United States Army served as a guest speaker at the awards event.

SGIS APPOINTS MICHAEL ALBANO AS DIVISION VICE PRESIDENT OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SERVICES
SGIS has hired Michael Albano, a retired United States Marine Corps Colonel and seasoned executive, as Division Vice President of Information Technology Services.  With over 29 years of experience in the Information Technology and Government Contracting industries, Albano oversees and is involved in business development for East Coast Information Technology services.  He is in charge of the Bid and Proposal (B&P) process, identifying and approving potential business targets and supervising the capture process for selected targets.  Albano also oversees all employees in his division.  He is based out of the Tampa, Florida office.

SGIS BRIEFS HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS AT HOWARD COUNTY COMMUNITY COLLEGE SPRING 2008 TECHNOLOGY DAY
SGIS Lead Technical Training Specialist Marc Saldana briefed over 250 high school students from Anne Arundel County Public Schools and the Howard County Public School System at the Spring 2008 Technology Day at Howard County Community College in Columbia, Maryland.  His presentation exposed students to various innovative technology careers and motivated them to take additional, more advanced science, math and other technology-related classes to help prepare them for their careers.  Saldana was chosen to present due to his subject matter expertise and outstanding presentation skills.

SGIS IS AWARDED A SEAPORT-E CONTRACT BY THE UNITED STATES NAVY IN SUPPORT OF THE BASE REALIGNMENT AND CLOSURE PROGRAM MANAGEMENT OFFICE
SkillStorm, Inc. dba SGIS (herein referred to as SGIS) has been awarded a SeaPort Enhanced (SeaPort-e) Project Management, Administrative and Information Support prime contract by the United States Navy in support of the Base Realignment and Closure Program Management Office (BRAC PMO). The work will be performed in San Diego, California; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Charleston, South Carolina; San Francisco, California; and Washington, D.C. The contract has a one-year base with four option years, for a total of five years, and is worth over $15 million.

SGIS Senior Account Manager Mark Nehmer has been appointed as the Chairman of the Scholarship Committee for the South Florida Chapter of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA). Nehmer will be responsible for directing outreach to the South Florida educational community, including high school, college and university students to promote awareness of the AFCEA and the availability of scholarships for qualified students. He will also evaluate scholarship applications and serve as a key decision maker for scholarships awarded.

SGIS has been awarded a Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) contract by the Space and Naval Warfare (SPAWAR) Systems Center Charleston in support of the United States Navy.  The majority of the work will be performed in Charleston, South Carolina (60%), but will also take place in Norfolk, Virginia (40%).

SGIS IS AWARDED A SOLUTIONS FOR INTELLIGENCE ANALYSIS CONTRACT BY SRA INTERNATIONAL IN SUPPORT OF THE DEFENSE INTELLIGENCE COMMUNITY
SGIS has been awarded a Solutions for Intelligence Analysis (SIA) contract by SRA International in support of the Defense Intelligence Community. The work will be performed within the Defense Intelligence Community throughout the United States and world-wide; this includes any Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), Service Center (Army, Navy, Marine Corps and Air Force), Combatant Commands (COCOM) or deployed location where services are deemed necessary. The period of performance is five years; therefore, the contract is valid until December 2012. The contract has a $1 billion ceiling value.

SGIS IS AWARDED A SIMULATOR MAINTENANCE AND SUPPORT CONTARCT IN SUPPORT OF THE UNITED STATES ARMY PROGRAM EXECUTIVE OFFICE FOR SIMULATION, TRAINING & INSTRUMENTATION
SGIS has been awarded an Artillery and Chemical Training Life Cycle Contractor Support (ACT LCCS) prime contract by the United States Army Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI).  The work will be performed at eight Army bases within the Continental United States and globally, including Orlando, Florida; Fort Sill, Oklahoma; Fort Bragg, North Carolina; Redstone Arsenal, Alabama; Fort Bliss, Texas; Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri; Korea and Germany.  The base period of performance is one year, including four one-year extensions; therefore, the contract is valid until February 2013.  This contract is valued at $14.5 million.

SGIS TO OPEN NEW OFFICE HUB IN CHARLESTON, SOUTH CAROLINA
SGIS announced today that it will open a new regional office in Charleston, South Carolina.  The new location was chosen to enable SGIS to provide ongoing services and better support to the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWAR) Charleston.  Ellen Pfeiffer, Assistant Vice President of Advanced Technical Solutions will be overseeing the office.  The new office is located at 6650 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29406.

SGIS held their second annual golf tournament in support of Susan G. Komen for the Cure at The Courses at Andrews Air Force Base at Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland in the Washington, D.C. Metro Area.  The charity event raised almost $4000.00.

SGIS announced today that the Space and Naval Warfare (SPAWAR) Systems Center, Charleston has awarded SGIS a Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Automated Messaging Services (FAMS) Engineering, Operations and Support prime contract. The work will be performed at the FBI headquarters in Washington, D.C. The contract is valid until June 29, 2008 and is worth over $3.1 million.

The Tampa office of SGIS hosted a dinner at the St. Petersburg Ronald McDonald House on March 5th, 2007.  The dinner for 50 was donated and prepared by SGIS employees for guests at the Ronald McDonald House, including the families of seriously ill children receiving treatment at local hospitals.

SGIS united with the pizzeria Valdiano Restaurant in Orlando, Florida to hold a "Hands for Hospice" Texas Hold'em Poker Tournament in support of Hospice of the Comforter located in Altamonte Springs, Florida. All proceeds were donated to the foundation.

SGIS OPENS NEW OFFICE IN SAN FRANCISCO, CA
SGIS has opened a new regional office in the San Francisco Bay Area of California.  The Bay Area was selected to position the new hub between the Silicon Valley and the financial district of San Francisco, enabling SGIS to offer their services to a larger region.  The San Francisco hub is now fully operational.

SGIS united with Rally for a Cure to hold its 1st Annual Golf Tournament in support of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation at the Reston National Golf Course in Reston, VA.  The charity event raised $4,330 with all proceeds benefiting the foundation.

SGIS NAMED A FINALIST FOR BUSINESS OF THE YEAR AWARD
SGIS was named a finalist in Tampa Bay Business Journal’s Business of the Year award for 2006, in the Professional Services category.  130 companies were nominated, but only 39 finalists chosen. An independent panel of judges evaluated companies on criteria that include sales and revenue of local business units for the past three years; why this year was noteworthy; the company's strategic plan; and management's relationship with both employees and customers.

SGIS OPENS NEW OFFICE HUB IN CHARLOTTE, NC
SGIS, a government contracting company, has opened a new regional office in Charlotte, NC.  The new hub location, which was selected due to its rapidly growing technology market, is now fully operational.

SGIS DEBUTS AT #6 IN SAN DIEGO BUSINESS JOURNAL'S 2006 LIST OF TOP 100 FASTEST GROWING PRIVATE COMPANIES
SGIS was ranked #6 in San Diego Business Journal’s Top 100 Fastest-Growing Privately-Held Companies list of 2006.  This high-profile list acknowledges companies in San Diego County based on highest percentage increase in revenue from 2003 to 2005.  SGIS was recognized at an annual awards ceremony, held at the San Diego Marriott Hotel and Marina , as the result of a remarkable 5,300% growth in revenue over the last three years.  The list is indicative of the diversity of San Diego ’s economy and boasts a cross section of firms in various industries and services.

SGIS CEO RECEIVES SAN DIEGO METROPOLITAN'S 40 UNDER 40 AWARD
SGIS CEO Hany Girgis took home an award for San Diego Metropolitan magazine’s 40 Under 40 Awards at the seventh annual awards ceremony, presented at the San Diego Convention Center.  This award recognizes the accomplishments of 40 of San Diego 's brightest young business and civic leaders.  These up-and-comers must be under 40 years old and a resident of San Diego County.

GOVERNOR JEB BUSH PRESENTS SGIS WITH THE GOVERNOR'S ENTREPRENEURSHIP AWARD
SGIS took home the award for the 2006 Governor’s Entrepreneurship Award in Florida's Mega Market.  Governor Jeb Bush presented the award at an exclusive ceremony at the Governor’s Mansion in Tallahassee, Florida. T his prestigious award, bestowed by the Governor and Enterprise Florida , is given to a start-up company, less than five years old, which sets the standard for entrepreneurship and creativity.  It is part of the Governor’s Business Diversification Awards, a statewide program that recognizes Florida companies in emerging and high-technology industries for their contributions to Florida ’s economic growth.

SGIS, a government contracting company, took home the award for South Florida Business Journal’s 2006 Technology Awards in the Professional Services category at the eighth annual awards ceremony.  This award recognizes technology-based companies with a proven track record of innovative business practices who have significant South Florida operations.  SGIS was bestowed this prestigious honor above many applicants and three other highly successful finalists in the category.

SKILLSTORM GOVERNMENT SERVICES REBRANDS AS SGIS
SkillStorm Government Services announced today that it has changed its name to more accurately reflect the services that it offers its customers.  The organization is now SkillStorm Government Integrated Solutions and will be known going forward as SGIS.  The new name draws upon the company’s extensive capabilities as an integrator of various technologies and services within the public sector.  Accompanying the name change is the release of a new company logo.

Ernst & Young LLP announced SGIS President and CEO Hany Girgis as one of three finalists for its 2006 Entrepreneur of the Year Award in the High Technology category today.  Girgis was selected by an independent panel of judges comprised of local business, academic and community leaders.

MAGAZINE'S "HOT 100 FASTEST GROWING NEW COMPANIES IN AMERICA LIST"
SGIS announced today that it ranked No. 13 on PricewaterhouseCoopers’ and Entrepreneur magazine’s Hot 100 list of The Fastest Growing New Companies in America.  The list is featured in the June 2006 issue of Entrepreneur magazine.  The 12th Annual Hot 100 listing was assembled from an initial list of fast-growing companies compiled by PricewaterhouseCoopers.

SGIS IS AWARDED SEAPORT-E CONTRACT BY UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF THE NAVY
SGIS announced today a prime contract award from the United States Department of the Navy to be a provider for their competition for service requirements solicited by Naval Sea Systems Command, Naval Air Systems Command, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, Naval Supply Systems Command, Military Sealift Command, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Strategic Systems Programs, and the Marine Corps. 251 contractors were awarded indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity multiple award contracts.
